City of Wine, Orange Flag and Comune Fiorito and main stop of the Wine and Olive Oil road of Lucca and Versilia, Montecarlo is a small hilly town on the border between the provinces of Lucca and Pistoia where they produce wines of great interest  over the renowned Doc Montecarlo Bianco label - recognized in 1969 - and the Doc Montecarlo Rosso obtained in 1985.
Founded in 1333 by Emperor Charles IV of Bohemia, the ancient village that proudly retains his name is a wine production area at least for more than 1150 years, being dated 846 AD the first document archive that speaks explicitly of the presence of wine grown and sold in the area.
Farms and wineries in Montecarlo will be open to the public to accompany the visitor on a tour of innovative and exciting, thanks to the hospitality of the owners family and with the presence of qualified winemakers and sommeliers Fisar and AIS.
Directly in the cellars, what better setting for wines of Montecarlo, there will be qualified exhibitors of local products.
To guide guests through the farms of Montecarlo, the streets lined by vineyards and olive groves, there will be the "wine bus" shuttle service that will lead directly to the cellars. Visit preview to the historic Fortress Cerruglio, the beautiful Teatro dei Rassicurati the Collegiate Church of St. Andrea the Apostle and the ancient church of San Piero in Campo, treasures of artistic and cultural heritage of Montecarlo where visitors are welcome.
