notes

Inaugurated during the celebrations of 24 May 1923, the Tobacco Factory (closed for some time) was one of the town's most important factories at the time, and a place with a strong female and workers' presence. As a place of aggregation originated also a strong vindictive movement, in the immediate post-war period.
