Memory

In this section you will find news about monuments to the Fallen of the first and second world war which are in a particular area of the province territory: Garfagnana. It is a section in progress which will be soon integrated with news coming from Media Valle, Versilia and Piana of Lucca.
The purpose is to spread the patrimony formed by memorial stones, tombstones, plates and parks dedicated to the Fallen, monuments that constitute the memory of the first and second world war and still witness the impact of the two wars on the whole province territory.

The section integrates itself with the teaching deepening about the places of the Resistance and it makes part of a bigger project financed by the Province of Lucca in 2004 which foresaw recognition and census of all the monuments to the Fallen in the province territory.
